The undergraduate- and post-graduate students of our Institute take an active part in the Presidential stipend programs as well as in the state nominal stipend programs held among the universities of the Aral coast area. Thus, a post-graduate student of Nukus State Teachers’ Training Institute G.Patullaeva won the Presidential stipend in academic year 2000-
Our students are the regular participants of various activities held in the republic and they are the holders of various awards. In 2001 an undergraduate student M. Utemuratov became the first laureate in Karakalpakstan of
the state prize “Nikhol” meant to encourage young singers. In 2002 an undergraduate student of the historical faculty D. Bekimbetova was awarded with the prize “Nikhol” under the nomination «Choreographic Art.»
Historic excursus . During 2001 - 2008 the 20 students of NSTTI became the holders of the state stipends. Six of them won the state Ulugbek stipend, eleven –the state Navoi stipend, three – the state Beruni stipend.
