Faculty of the Primary Teaching Methodology

Started in 1990. The two chairs of the faculty - «Primary Teaching Methodology» and «General Pedagogy and Psychology» unite 21 professors. Among them - 2 Doctors, 2 Candidates and docents. The professorial-teaching staff of the faculty is engaged in researches on such urgent problems as «Development of the Primary Educations», «Preparing for the School Life by Developing Creative Work» etc. Since the academic year 2002-2003 there has been Master’s degree study on the faculty in the field «Primary Teaching Methodology.» The faculty collaborates with many scientific organizations of Uzbekistan as well as with the faculty of psychology of Uzbek National Uzbek Conservatoire and the faculty of pedagogy and psychology of Tashkent State Teacher-Training University.
The faculty has, except a well-equipped computer room connected to the Internet, the study of pedagogy and psychology where the students can prepare for the lessons with the help of the new textbooks and teaching aids, scientific-methodological journals, lectures, electronic resources. In order to develop the students’ erudition and professional skills, the sections «A Young Pedagogue» and «A Young Psychologist» are organized on the faculty.
