Journal “Science and Society”

      Founded in 2004. Terms of publication: 4 times a year. Registered by the Decision of the Supreme Attesting Committee Board of the Republic of Uzbekistan from December, 25, 2003 after №100/4 as well as by the Press and Information Agency of the Republic of Karakalpakstan (Certificate № 01-043 from February, 14, 2007).
   
At present chief editor of the journal is the rector of Nukus State Teachers’ Training Institute candidate of physics and mathematics docent M.K. Berdimuratov. Executive editor- professor of the historical faculty docent A. Sultanov.  The other workers of the Institute such as docent J.Sagindikov, docent J.Jalgasbaev, docent B.Jollibekov and many others used to take part in the development of the journal on its primary stage.      Journal “Science and Society” is the additional teaching-methodical aid for university professors,  school teachers and educators, doctoral and post-graduate students of the republic engaged in scientific-research and scientific-methodical work. Besides, it serves an opportunity to share achievements in science with colleagues, to suggest new teaching technologies and up-to-date methods of teaching meant to organize educational-teaching process in higher educational institutions, professional colleges and academic lyceums, secondary schools and kindergartens at the new stage.

 

The journal promotes to development of the legal civic society and socially oriented market economy uniting the results of the scientific-practical researches of the leading scientists of the republic.  Their publications lighten the problems of the regional and global meaning, exchange of the scientific-pedagogical experience on the state and global levels.

Criteria of publishing a scientific article in the journal “Science and Society”

 

1. Articles for the journal are accepted in the Karakalpak, Uzbek and Russian languages. Brief summary (resume) of the article must be prepared in two languages other than that in the article. For example, if the article is in the Karakalpak language, the summary must be in the Russian and English languages.

2. Two signed copies of the whole material and electronic version should be provided by author.

3. Script of the article: Times KRKP for the Karakalpak language, BODANU UZ for the Uzbek language and  Times new Roman for the Russian language. Size of the script: 12, size of the interval: 1, upper side of the page: 3 sm, lower side: 3 sm, left and right sides: 2 sm.

4. The used literature is shown inside the article according to the standards. For example: (1, 16)

5. Quotations in the manuscript should be checked by author. He is responsible for their correct usage.

6. At the end of the article there should be given the following information about author: full name, place of work, position, scientific degree and rank, current address, telephone (home, official),   е - em а il.

7. Articles about the scientific life of a university must be confirmed by one of its administrators.

8. Articles must be edited and mistakes must be corrected.

9. Articles must have at least two letters of approve from experts.

10. Articles which do not correspond to the mentioned above criteria will not be accepted by the editors of the journal.

11. Provided articles are not returned.

12.   The editors have the rights to abridge and edit articles.
